Where do performance figures come from?

Productivity uses the production count and assigned hours for the same process and period. For example, 1,000 items divided by 10 hours equals 100 items per hour.

The schedule describes planned staffing. Approved clock times record checked hours worked. Links to time blocks and processes determine which hours count in the calculation. Planned and clocked hours are not automatically the same.

1. Select the correct period and open the process details.
2. Check production counts, assigned hours and linked shifts.
3. If figures differ, also check clock times and time-block assignments. A missing count is not the same as zero production.

Compare processes separately. A combined average is useful only for comparable work and should use total items divided by total hours.
